San Francisco Pride 2026

San Francisco, United States

Official website →

San Francisco Pride 2026 marks another year of the world's most historically significant LGBTQI+ celebration, taking place across the last weekend of June in the city where so much of the modern queer rights movement was born.

The weekend centres on a two-day festival in Civic Center Plaza, with multiple stages hosting an eclectic lineup of performers, community organisations, and activist speakers. The Grand Parade on Sunday is a joyful, sprawling procession through Market Street, with delegations from hundreds of community groups, companies, and political organisations.

The Castro remains the neighbourhood epicentre — bars, restaurants, and clubs fill beyond capacity for the entire weekend, with spontaneous street parties and performances spilling out onto the pavements. Tickets to official Pride parties sell out well in advance, so booking early is strongly recommended.

San Francisco Pride attracts visitors from across the US and internationally. The city's excellent public transit makes it easy to navigate without a car during the busy weekend. Hotels in SoMa, the Castro, and Hayes Valley are closest to the action and book out months in advance.
