Midsumma is Melbourne's premier LGBTQI+ arts and culture festival, running annually across three weeks in January and February. The festival presents more than 130 events including theatre, cabaret, comedy, visual arts, sport, and community events, culminating in the Midsumma Carnival at Alexandra Gardens — a free outdoor festival and one of Victoria's biggest LGBTQI+ gatherings.
