Bear Week
Bear Week Provincetown is one of the most beloved bear events in the world — a week when bears, cubs, and their admirers descend on America's most storied LGBTQ+ resort. Commercial Street fills with the community, and the town's guesthouses, bars, and restaurants embrace the week wholeheartedly.
Events & Atmosphere
The week features pool parties at the Boatslip Beach Club (the legendary T-dance venue), bear runs on the beach and dunes, bar nights at A-House and the Crown & Anchor, and a community that genuinely comes together in one of America's most beautiful coastal settings.
Provincetown in July
Provincetown in high summer is stunning — long evenings, warm ocean water, golden light over the dunes. The town is small enough to walk everywhere and intimate enough that you'll see the same faces every day, creating a strong sense of community over the course of the week.
Notes

The week includes the classic PTown bear events: pool parties at the Boatslip, the Bearracuda and Lone Star Saloon circuit, tea dances, and the signature outdoor events along Commercial Street.
